Rosecea, red spider veins (capillaries), red splotchy areas, pre-malignant cancers (red scaly hard bumps) is treated by the most advanced laser therapies

So many patients ask two questions consistently: One, what is the difference between all the fillers? And two what is the difference between Restylane vs Perlane and Ultra vs Ultra Plus? The first answer is the same as the concept between Coke and Pepsi. As we described in an earlier blog for the difference between Botox and Dysport, the same applies here. It is two companies producing very similar filler products made out of hylauronic acid. Hylauronic acid is a natural substance found in our skin that gives us the plumpness in our face. When we age we tend to lose this plumpness and Dr. Kane uses these filler products to refill those areas of the face that have lost its fullness, such as the nasal folds, hollows under the eyes, marionette lines and any facial wrinkle lines.

The second question: What is the difference between Restylane and Perlane or Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus? The differences are basically the size of the molecular structure of the hylauronic acid gels. Both Perlane and Juvederm Ultra Plus are larger molecules which give a bigger volume fill and have been found to last longer from 8 to 12 months. Most patients opt for the larger gel size to achieve greater fill and better plumping with longer lasting effects.
